Install notes
First-time Mac install
Until the Mac App Store release, Cumulus is distributed as a signed DMG. On the first open, macOS Gatekeeper may ask you to confirm. Right-click the app in Applications → Open the first time.
Where your data lives
Everything is written to a local SQLite file inside your Mac user profile first; cloud sync is a secondary copy. See Data safety for the specifics.
Windows and iOS
Mac desktop ships first. A Windows build is next on the roadmap; mobile apps come after. The web PWA works on Windows browsers and iOS Safari in the meantime.
