What we collect
Cumulus Planner collects only what is necessary to let you sign in and sync across devices:
- Your email address, for sign-in.
- Your plan content (tasks, routines, journal) — same rows your app shows you.
- Minimal device metadata (sync timestamps) for merge logic.
What we don't collect
- No ads. No ad trackers. No third-party analytics on your plan content.
- No access by other users. Row-level security prevents cross-account reads.
- No sale, no sharing, no training-data pipeline for your plan content.
Where your data lives
Primary copy: a local SQLite database on your device. Cloud mirror: Supabase (AWS region). TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest.
AI features
AI assistance (future, Pro tier) runs on-request. The specific text you ask about is sent to Anthropic for the duration of that request. Nothing is retained for training by the provider or by us. If you don't use AI features, no plan content leaves Cumulus's own storage.
Your rights
- Export all your data to JSON at any time.
- Delete your account; cloud copy is removed.
- Contact us for data access or correction requests.
